One of the many poems I've written . . . .
~ In My Mind ~
In my mind
I’m walking along
the waters edge
waves tickling my toes
seagulls screeching
overhead as I raise
my face to the sun
feeling its warmth
on my skin as its
rays kiss my face
leaving fresh freckles
scattered across my
nose as I smell the
ocean and taste
the sea salt in the
air
